Welcome to

Empath Chamber (formerly Ogre Pit Games) creates atmospheric storygames built on the OGREISH framework – a lightweight narrative engine forged from the bones of Powered by the Apocalypse, Forged in the Dark, and Fate.

OGREISH uses six-sided dice pools formed from character traits and narrative Facets. Simple, fast, and expressive, it plays cleanly at the table whether you are telling a quiet one-shot or something that spans seasons of grief and growth.

Where Fields Go Fallow began as a one-page RPG called PITCHFORK, submitted to the One-Page RPG Jam in early 2024. It struck a chord with players – authentic, human, and haunted by the remnants of war.

Now it has grown into our first full game: a 36-page zine edition, successfully Kickstarted and beautifully illustrated, where ordinary villagers face a monstrous remnant from the Autumn War. Built on the OGREISH framework, it tells of struggle, kinship, and standing together when no one else will. Check out our campaign at Kickstaer for more info:
